At first I thought to replicate the "Mission Jamaica" project that I currently participate in. I was going to form a group of mature adults and teens who would travel to different orphanages across the globe every 3 months. We would visit indisposed and disabled children where we would then entertain and spend time with them. I am also very interested in photography. I thought that these projects would also be a very good time to use my photography skills and form a website to portray all of the pictures that I take from the visits at different orphanages. Lastly, I highly enjoy passing on the message of the importance of helping others to children and teens. I would like to incorporate that idea by discussing my experience from the organization that I will create to different schools across the country.
That, of course, would be an organization that interests me greatly. However, I do not think that organization would be as unique as I'm hoping. I aspire for my charitable idea to be as successful and unique as The Make a Wish Foundation. That is how I came up with my second idea.
My second idea is to form a charitable group that would visit hospitals with highly indisposed children who may only live for another few years due to their diseases. We would find out their birthdays and their favorite thing in the world. Then, when it's their birthday, we would decorate their room with the theme of their favorite thing in the world. For example, let's say their favorite thing is mickey mouse. We would custom make balloons, cookie bouquets, and decorations to be hung all around their room for an unforgettable birthday.
